Welcome to Wee Three Kings Preschool
Who We Are…
We are here to provide a place where children can learn in a loving Christian atmosphere and develop a positive self-image that will promote a solid basis for meeting life’s social, academic and moral challenges. To encourage a child to ask questions, to explore and to experiment through developmentally appropriate child-initiated, child-directed play and activities.
A Message From Our Director
Warm Winter Greetings! Priority registration will close at 3pm today. Thank you all for getting your registrations in! Emails confirming your child’s placement will be sent out by February 15th. If you have not already registered, there may be openings in some of our classes and will be filled on a first come first served basis as additional registrations come in. Please let your friends and neighbors know! If your child is placed in a morning preschool spot, you will be receiving a Lunch Bunch registration form in your placement email. Lunch Bunch priority is given to students with a sibling in PDO.
Reminder: we will be off school on February 19th to observe Presidents Day. February is also Kindness Month at Wee Three Kings. Preschoolers will learn about Kindness as the Fruit of the Spirit for the month and we always have fun brainstorming ways that we can be kind to each other.
We will launch our Kindness Month with A Sweet Night with Dad!
Bring Dad to school (or someone special) and
● help assemble Care Kits
● decorate (and eat) a cookie
● take a photo with Dad
● enjoy balloon artists
● and glitter tattoos
Please consider donating items for the care kits. We are looking for travel-size wet wipes, Hot hand warmers, Valentines sprinkles.
You can also donate through our Amazon Wish List: https://a.co/9rXR1wv
In an effort to encourage kindness we are inviting all families to participate in our Kindness Challenge February 9-29th
We are challenging you and your preschooler to go out and spread kindness throughout your community.
How to participate?
Here are just a few examples of acts of kindness that will work for the competition. Feel free to steal one of these ideas or come up with one of your own.
❤ shop for food and clothing donations
❤ make driveway chalk drawings for neighbors
❤ make valentines or cards for nursing homes (turn your cards into the front desk and we will deliver them to a local facility)
❤ make a birthday box for nursing home or hospitals
❤ take dog treats to an animal shelter or donate food & toys to shelter animals
❤ take your neighbor’s dog for a walk
❤ paint positive rocks
❤ buy someone in line behind you coffee or lunch
❤ shovel snow or do yard work for a neighbor
Every time you share an act of kindness or kindness activity with your child during the month, snap a photo of it and email it to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) or add it to our vidday event (https://share.vidday.com/e/o-10442u).
For each photo that is submitted, you will be entered into a lottery drawing for a grand prize: Kindness is Rewarded Basket, valued at $140, which includes Chick-Fil-A gift cards and $100 in Zoo Bucks for admissions to the Cincinnati Zoo.
Through these experiences, children will learn about showing kindness to not only those in need but also to those who live around us. We thank you in advance for participating in our Kindness Month activities and look forward to this special time where we are all reminded to “…be kind to each other.” 1Thessalonians 5:15
“But we were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little children.” 1 Thessalonians 2:7
