Dear Parents and Grandparents,
October was quite an exciting month! We had so much fun learning about spiders with Mother Nature, growing our faith by learning about the Fruit of the Spirit—JOY, celebrating fall at our Fall Festival, and enjoying time with friends at our Halloween parties and Trick-or-Treating.
A huge thank-you to all who have already participated in our HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE! We’re well on our way to collecting over 155 items for holiday meal bags. There are two weeks left, so don’t forget to pick something up at the store (fruit cocktail cans, French fried onions, containers of ground cinnamon, or bags of brown sugar). Thank you for supporting our local food pantries!
BUTTER BRAID PICK UP day will be Wednesday, November 12th, starting at 11:00 a.m. Items will arrive frozen and must be picked up by the end of the day to stay frozen. Please note: it’s best to pick up earlier in the day if possible. Thank you for supporting this annual fundraiser, which has helped us raise $2,500 for our enrichment programs!
Once again, you’ll have the opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done early! The PAPERPIE BOOK FAIR will take place November 11–12 (11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) with a wide selection of great books available for purchase.
We play outside as much as possible—even in cooler weather—so please dress your child accordingly with a coat, mittens, and a hat. As a reminder, in the event of INCLEMENT WEATHER, we follow Loveland Schools for delays or closings.
- If Loveland closes, we will also close.
- If Loveland has a 2-hour delay, our morning preschool session will be closed. All PDO, Lunch Bunch, and STEAM classes will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Don’t be surprised if you hear your preschooler singing Christmas carols already! We’ll begin practicing several songs this week. Our preschool classes (3’s, 4’s, and Pre-K) will perform a wonderful CHRISTMAS PROGRAM for families on December 8th (AM classes) and December 9th (PM classes), starting at 6:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss this very special evening! All families and friends of the school are invited to attend—it’s a magnificent way to kick off the Christmas season.
Wee Three Kings will be CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING November 24–28 to align with both Milford and Loveland school district calendars.
Mark your calendar so you don’t miss November’s MESSY CHURCH: “JOSEPH” on November 25th from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Enjoy a time for the entire family with worship, crafts, and dinner together. Messy Church is open to all and designed so kids, parents, and grandparents can play and grow in faith together. If you’re in town, we hope you can come—bring along any family visiting that week!
We hope you can join us for BREAKFAST WITH SANTA on Saturday, December 6th, from 8:00–10:00 a.m. There will be photos, a pancake and sausage breakfast, ornament crafts, reindeer food making, and Santa’s Workshop! No reservations are required, and the event is free—all we ask is that your family bring a box of cereal to donate to our local food pantries.
We’d like to wish everyone a peaceful, HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Enjoy your time off with family and friends.
Sincerely, Windy Robinson Director of Family Ministries and Wee Three Kings Preschool https://weethreekings.org/ • 513-683-4256
