LITTLE EXPLORERS' CLASSES
Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Janean
Dear Little Explorers’ Parents,
Wow! We really did use all five of our senses in the month of March! Our jelly bean tasting was a lot of fun. The lemon flavored jelly bean got mixed reviews and the cherry jelly bean was the overall favorite! We also learned that our senses are both similar and different from animal senses. The Hamilton County Parks visit taught us that snakes use their tongues to smell! We had some incredible animal encounters while learning about animal senses.
We ended the month with our “Pet Party”. The children loved making collars for their pets and we all enjoyed eating our dog biscuits for snack!
We will spend the first week of April learning about shapes and where we see shapes in everyday life. We will spend the last four weeks of April learning about bugs. At the end of the month we will be able to answer the question “Are all ladybugs girls?”
Thank you for sharing your children with us,
Amy and Janean
